What you say about your team stays on your phone

It is processed as you speak and then it is gone. There is no recording of you anywhere (not on the device, not on a server, not in a backup). Speech is turned into text so the counterpart has something to answer, and the audio itself is discarded as it goes.

Every practice, transcript, piece of feedback and trend is stored locally on your device, protected by the phone's own encryption. We cannot read them. Nobody can.

When you name a real colleague, in a practice setup, in a practice, or when you describe your own situation, that name is replaced with a placeholder before anything is sent for processing. The mapping back to the real name stays on the device.

Steady has no sign-up, no email address and no password. There is no profile of you on a server: no name, no email, no recordings and no transcripts. Payment is handled by Apple or Google, not by us.

Because there is no account, there is no account to delete. The deletion that matters is the one below, and it happens on the device, immediately, without asking us.

To make the other person answer you, the text of what you said in a practice is sent to a language model provider over an encrypted connection, with real names already replaced. It is used to generate the reply and the feedback for that practice, and it is not used to train models.

This site counts visits: which page was opened, where the visit came from, and whether a store button was tapped. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. A visit here is never connected to anything you do in the app. The counts are held by PostHog.

Steady counts how the app is used: that it was opened, how far setup got, that a practice started and finished, that feedback was read, that the subscription screen appeared, and that a trial or subscription started, renewed or ended.

Each count carries numbers and short labels: how long the practice was, which situation it was, whether you were on a trial. Never a word of what you said or typed. There is no screen recording, no session replay, and no field in that data that could hold a sentence.

The counts are tied to a random id made for your install, not to a name or an email, and are held by PostHog. News of a renewal or a cancellation comes to us from RevenueCat, which handles subscriptions.

It is on by default, and you can turn it off in You → Privacy at any time. When it is off the app does not send the request at all. It is not collected and quietly discarded, it never leaves the phone. Renewals and cancellations are not counted either.

If the app crashes, it sends a crash report: where in the code it broke, the app version and the phone model. Never a word of what you said, no screenshots and nothing that names you. It is on by default and it has its own switch in You → Privacy. When it is off, nothing is sent. Reports are held by Sentry.

You → Privacy → Delete everything removes every practice, transcript, piece of feedback, trend and setting from the device. It tells you exactly what is about to go before it goes. It cannot be undone, and it does not need our help to happen.

Steady is built for working adults managing teams, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.
